Bright garlands, suitable for seasonal decoration

When the light bulbs burned out, I replaced the batteries. I want to activate it, it doesn't work. Thinking the batteries were bad, I tried a different set of batteries. I put them in a dim light so I took out a brand new pack of fairy lights, plugged them in and they worked, took those batteries out and put other batteries in and they didn't light up. So I put the batteries that came with it back in. Plugged in and they don't work again. It is a poor quality product and not worth the money. If you don't plan on never using it again, it's fine.
