I wanted a short string of warm lights to illuminate my tabletop fountain. You are perfect. They are waterproof and the perfect length to light up the fountain at night. During the day they are hardly visible. It would be nice if they had a timer, but turning them off is fine. They give a nice warm glow which is exactly what I was looking for.

When the light bulbs burned out, I replaced the batteries. I want to activate it, it doesn't work. Thinking the batteries were bad, I tried a different set of batteries. I put them in a dim light so I took out a brand new pack of fairy lights, plugged them in and they worked, took those batteries out and put other batteries in and they didn't light up. So I put the batteries that came with it back in. Plugged in and they don't work again. It is a poor quality product and not worth the money. If

I bought two boxes of these lights. When I opened up the remote and tested it, I was amazed by the ease of use and the brightness of the backlight. I used them for the first time last night and after about 2 hours they started fading. I tried making them brighter with the remote control. Just got mine today just in time for Christmas gifts. Everything was perfect EXCEPT ONE! I noticed that the end was missing the plastic tab (the part that keeps the batteries from dying. I think the plastic tab must have come loose during packaging and caused the batteries to loosen. I have used them all over my daughter's wedding reception! I've used them on tables, around the cake, around the photo frames of the ones we lost. You were wonderful! We set the tables and lit them all at 12 noon and then went to the wedding at 1:30pm. When we returned for cocktail hour they were still brightly lit and lasted all evening until we turned them off around 11pm.
