It will shrink when you put it in the dryer. Be sure to follow the washing instructions.
I wanted to wash this comforter before use, so I washed it normally with warm water and tumble dried it (just like I would new cotton towels). Basically everything was crumpled, every square turned into a deep dent. It looked like a giant waffle or like my son said "tripe" lol. I was able to fix it by steam ironing it while stretching it. Now it's smooth and even again. I will dry it next time. This is a beautiful lightweight blanket, just what I was looking for. I just had to read the washing instructions. evil me!
- WASH EASY CARE. Machine wash colors separately, wash cold, gentle cycle, tumble dry low, follow label directions. Remove from the washing machine immediately to avoid wrinkles. Made from 100% natural materials with no added harmful chemicals or synthetic materials. Due to the special shrinkage rate of the waffle fabric, the blanket is slightly larger to avoid shrinkage after washing. Do not bleach. Hang to dry.
