I'm not sure about this product. A few months ago I bought a set of floor lamps that originally stood in my grandparents' cottage (1960's/70's era). It seemed to work fine at first, but after a few weeks it stopped working like a three-way lightbulb when turned on. By default it's in the middle (first click doesn't do anything, second click turns it on) unless the bulb is tightened a bit. Every time it turns on, it loses its three-way settings unless the bulb is tightened just a tiny bit. I'm not sure if the individual lamp is in there now, this product as a whole or the lamp, but the lamp didn't work like that on the previous 3-way lamp. Somehow he keeps losing the right connection.
