Not the same as military style BDU caps.
I'm used to the BDU hats I can find in military stores that have an inner layer and an outer layer to hold the shape of the hat as the inner layer is slightly smaller than a cap is . an outer layer that creates a rigid structure (not rounded at the top fillet of the cylinder). Also, most military grade BDU hats are made from 50% poly, 50% cotton, and ripstop poly. These are single ply cotton. They should fit most people, but if you're looking for military-style BDU hats, keep looking.
