The problem my dealer mechanic and I had was that the instructions did not adequately explain how the stops fit. There didn't seem to be enough room for them (between the arm and the frame stop) and there was no clear description or photo that spoke of how they were designed. I returned them and bought bumpers that were less aggressive.
