Looks good but doesn't move much air
Installed on our covered patio. It looks great, but even at altitude we hardly feel the air movement. I was hoping there would be enough wind to keep the mosquitoes away but I doubt it. We tried both directions and made sure it turned as fast as possible. You'd think that big, wide wings would move a lot of air, but that doesn't seem to be the case. We could end up moving this to the guest bedroom and end up with something less stylish but more efficient deck. Yes, the color is slightly off-white, not pure white and white. We hung it under a ceiling of white vinyl and it looks great.
