I'm not a fan of gimmicks. Still, this is the best kitchen tool I've added in a long time. I only use homemade dressing. I can really measure that. The blade storage works great. While the dressing is in the refrigerator, it will set. I take it out at the beginning of the salad preparation so that it softens a bit at room temperature. The blade will then become strong enough to mix the dressing. I can't remember the last time I was so happy (not just satisfied) with a product.
