I used this to freehand stitch a tooth pouch for my 6 year old and it worked great. It's definitely not professional embroidery, but it worked great and looks great. I also really appreciate the variety of colors. She will be very happy to use the rest to make friendship bracelets! It comes in two packs, meaning you'll get two of each color. One package contained needles, the other plastic parts that could be used to wind the thread. I liked that I didn't have to buy needles separately. Overall very good value for money.
