I specifically wanted to add a quick and easy check valve for events where I could.

Used with my Luxe bidet which I added for my second bathroom. I specifically wanted to add a quick and easy shut off valve for events where I might have a younger child who tends to play with the extra handles on the bidet and make my bathroom wet. As others have said; The design of the valve is really strange - in the "main" part there is a very small - 3-4mm hole through which water enters the diverter and is divided into the toilet bowl and exits to the bidet (or the valve is blocked when closing). In my application I didn't notice that the water fills the tank noticeably slower - it seems to fill about as fast as before. I've noticed that the water pressure coming through the bidet seems to be higher than usual, so part of the benefit of a valve is that you can control the overall water pressure at the valve by just opening it a certain amount. Since this is in my kid's bathroom, I've found that opening the valve at about 25% produces a reasonably safe jet of water, even with the bidet on its highest setting. The pressure of the water flowing through the bidet seems stronger. what should be
