Review on Olympus LG-1 Light Guide for Olympus TG Series Cameras (TG-1, TG-2, TG-3, TG-4, TG-5 & TG-6) by Eric Render

I bought this OEM flash ring for extra close up (macro) photography on an Olympus TG-5. I figured it was worth paying a lot ($40 for a basic plastic reflector ring) for an OEM product designed for a specific TG camera series. glows evenly. The two attached shots (mosses) were taken in soft daylight. As you can see, the flash ring barely diffuses the light from the flash. If anything, it seems more intense and concentrated in the top left corner where the flash is located. I had to compare the same shots without the ring and with a regular flash, which I will do one day. The ring doesn't do what it's supposed to do. wasting $40.
