If you want to use tethering, please buy this cable. Powerful and securely connected. I prefer this for streaming, but my first choice is to use the games installed on the headset. The main reason to buy the Quest is that it's wireless, but if you want to play higher quality games you'll need to stream through a router or cable. Streaming works, but there are problems. The tethering with this cable is great, basically making the headset the best HMD out there, but you're tethered. Unless you have an rtx 2080 or better, you don't need a computer in my experience. I find the lack of top-notch graphics to be a great compromise to only use games available on the quest store or loaded with side quests.
