I bought this for my 16 year old daughter who usually wears small or XS (she is 5ft 3" and 114 pounds). I bought her a small and she could barely put her hands in it so I ordered a medium that goes down her back when she puts her hands up and she can't wear a sweater or anything thicker underneath. Otherwise the size is ok (length, body, etc.). We're sending it back - the large one will likely fit your arms/back but will be large otherwise. The coat itself is beautiful and feels warm. We're playing around, it won't fit.
