Quality materials but terrible battery life

I was hoping that this bike light would work flawlessly on my daily commute to and from work and around town. It fell short of my expectations in several areas - there are design features and a short battery life. The assembly of the lamp appears to be of high quality. It doesn't have the "plastic" feel of most other flashlights in this price range. However, the first time I tried to remove the cover from the charging port, I damaged the cover because it was difficult to tell how to remove it. I also found that the battery life is very short. I only use the flashlight for 10-15 minutes a day (usually with constant high beam) and the battery doesn't even last 5 days on a full charge. I probably wouldn't mind the battery life, except that it's also difficult to attach and remove from the bike for charging. I thought it would come with a mount or that it would be easy to maneuver with a strap, but the strap is stiff and difficult to remove and attach to the handlebars. I also like being able to stow the light to reduce the chance of someone stealing it off my bike (I live in the city and often park on the street). Of course, for me, the difficulty of extracting the light also means that a thief is less likely to steal it. However, I would have liked a flashlight that was easy to attach and remove and had a much longer battery life.
