This rectifier is good. Nothing special for me! Especially for the price. It works a little better than the drugstore straighteners I already have for a fraction of the price. It helps my ends look super curly, but not much more than what I already have! I have tried curling my hair with this flat iron several times. The results are super inconsistent. It works on some threads, not on others. I tried all possible configurations to get it working and it never got better. No matter what I did, I still had to curl half of my hair with a curling iron. To top it off, the end (where the two plates meet) gets very hot, so I preferred to grab it with my other hand to flip it. I was SUPER impressed with how quickly it heats up. Just under 30 seconds. I also liked that it has a digital thermometer that you can adjust based on your hair's needs. However, for me it is just normal and nothing special, so in my opinion these advantages do not outweigh it.
