Works for what I need it for which is music/shows etc without headphones on my PC. However, if you're buying them because they "look cool" - well, look elsewhere I guess. Because right after unpacking, the pulsating rainbow lights shine for a maximum of 4 seconds and then switch off. You have to press the top of the speaker to turn it back on and it will turn off again after 4 seconds. I've never been able to leave the light on longer, right out of the box. That said, the speakers work - I can listen to my shows/music from my bed or while I'm tidying my office etc which is what I actually wanted them for. It's a pity that the light doesn't work. In addition, the cable between the two speakers is very short. So if you have multiple monitors, it's not enough for more than one 24 inch monitor.
