Once this steering stabilizer? installed correctly, it did not affect stability or sway from passing trucks or the wind. I have to agree with Robert. It was very difficult to steer, like the power steering wasn't working. On a recent 556-mile ride on the infamous 395 Southern California (mostly twisty, blustery winds, bumpy roller coasters), the steering struggle caused blisters on my left arm. The anti-roll bar seems to lock up the steering of the F53 chassis in the middle, and when turning, the rear of the camper would suddenly nudge in the opposite direction. Please note that we are towing a small SUV on our own trailer and this will sway at every turn. I thought that was dangerous, so I removed the anti-roll bar at the next stop. Perhaps motorhomes are not designed for this product as large diesel trucks that really need this device are more suitable.
