RV parts and accessories are not very profitable

This may or may not be a safety feature. It didn't do anything for stability or wobble from passing trucks. Now for the actual deal breaker. My bus was very difficult to drive as if the power steering didn't work properly it would tire you out when driving around town and actually pose a hazard.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Does not fit all

Before installing the steering stabilizer, perform an alignment.

I installed this on a used 2017 Thor ace that I bought in 2018. It had 5600 miles at the time of purchase, the ace was driving so poorly I would have been completely exhausted after 100 miles of driving. By the way, I bought my first mobile home in 1996, so I'm not a beginner. First thing I did was CHF on it and then flatten the front when they straightened the steering wheel, it was about an 11-5 o'clock angle (which drove me crazy). Each change made a big difference in handling, but it wasn't

Big road holding improvement! ! !

installed on a 2017 Coachmen Mirada RV. Installation was quick and took about 45 minutes. A test drive to tweak very little if needed and WOW! ! ! I've been driving this motorhome for about a year now and the steering comfort has improved a lot. The biggest noticeable improvement is the thrust from semi-trailers passing on the left; no more steering! ! ! I highly recommend.

  • Sturdy construction

  • I don't remember but there was something

What's the Difference - Caravan Parts & Accessories

This product has completely changed our campervan driving experience. The first time I drove on the freeway at high speed, I noticed that the RV was drifting in the lane, and I always corrected the lane by going straight and cornering. It was very exhausting to constantly have two hands on the wheel and to look at the road. The first time DW drove, it lasted about half an hour. I took it for alignment but it didn't change much. Now I can drive with one hand and DW is ready to drive with him at…

Removes power steering

Once this steering stabilizer? installed correctly, it did not affect stability or sway from passing trucks or the wind. I have to agree with Robert. It was very difficult to steer, like the power steering wasn't working. On a recent 556-mile ride on the infamous 395 Southern California (mostly twisty, blustery winds, bumpy roller coasters), the steering struggle caused blisters on my left arm. The anti-roll bar seems to lock up the steering of the F53 chassis in the middle, and when turning…

No More Swaying Straight 2016 Ford F53 Chassis

Bought a 2017 Forest River Georgetown 329DS in August 2016 on a 2016 Ford F53 Chassis (208" WB with 19.5" wheels). Rods and Bilstein shocks (no steering stabilizer) but it still wobbled on the road. Installed Safe-T-Plus Tan Steering Stabilizer (41-180 priced at $472) with Installation Kit (F-119k2.5 priced at $49). Also fitted are Roadmaster sway bars (1139-140 priced $522) front and (1139-145 priced $687) rear. The Roadmaster 1139-140 replaces the stock Ford anti-roll bar (larger diameter) in
