Review on White Safe-T-Plus RV Steering Stabilizer 41-180: Enhanced RV Steering 🚚 Control and Safety for Trucks (RV Steering Stabilizer, Truck Steering Stabilizer) by Luis Norman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Before installing the steering stabilizer, perform an alignment.

I installed this on a used 2017 Thor ace that I bought in 2018. It had 5600 miles at the time of purchase, the ace was driving so poorly I would have been completely exhausted after 100 miles of driving. By the way, I bought my first mobile home in 1996, so I'm not a beginner. First thing I did was CHF on it and then flatten the front when they straightened the steering wheel, it was about an 11-5 o'clock angle (which drove me crazy). Each change made a big difference in handling, but it wasn't a good driver. I started asking questions and eventually ended up at Camping World for parts sales. Steve, the parts salesman, said they had good reports on the Safety Plus unit because it's a closed system and people complained about the noise coming from those with open springs. although it was more expensive. He would recommend Safety Plus. With the ACE now at its maximum length of 41-140 and just under the recommended length of 41-180, Steve citing safety as a plus point for information, it was decided it was that difficult to manage, although it would be a bit more difficult . on the power steering I drive from 41-180 and what an incredible difference that the driver now has one hand. I notice that it takes a little more effort to start a corner on the spot, but everything returns to normal immediately.

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Was damaged
