Use this in a studio application as a THIRD monitor connected to a MacBook Pro running Logic Pro X. This is in a vocal recording booth with a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse on the wall. This gives the vocalist direct access to the software, allowing them to choose a track to record while also being able to act as a solo engineer with the vocalist at the same time. This monitor was particularly good because it turns on when it receives power from the plug. This is great because the plug that feeds the monitor in the cockpit is connected to the LIGHT in the cockpit. So when you turn on the light, the monitor turns on. And goes out when the light is turned off. Saves energy and makes it more or less automatic when using the cabin. I liked this monitor feature. There is also a very long HDMI cable that runs from the cockpit and connects to the computer. It all works well and three monitors will work simultaneously in the studio if needed. This monitor has a lower resolution than 4K monitors, but the MacBook Pro knows the difference and they all run in MIRROR mode, so the overall resolution is lower when the cockpit light switch is on. The native resolution is still sufficient for fast vocal recordings made by singers themselves.
