The only functions that really work are temperature, fan and mode. I really wanted to be able to turn off the backlight on the display since it's so bright. But the light button is literally just a flashlight on the controller. Also, the codes are wrong, at least there was a code for Toshiba. The code they gave was 630, the code that actually worked was 240. The directions are also BS. I finally got it working by just scrolling through all the codes until it finally turned on my AC. The remote also doesn't work unless you're standing right in front of the AC so it's basically useless as a remote as I can't use it from my bed 5ft away. If I wanted to get up to change settings I would just use the display buttons on the air conditioner and not buy a remote control.
