Overall a good light with some minor flaws

This light is very good for my webcam and occasional flashlight use! That's quite enough to create a good video for video conferencing. I wouldn't use it for photo studio lighting or for key/backlighting in a bright outdoor scene, but that's not what it's designed for. Battery life is around an hour and a half, depending to some extent on how bright you run. That. The first annoyance with the light is that the range of colors it can produce is somewhat limited - the green part of the light gets pretty bright even at the lowest RGB settings. So the color range (gamut) of the light is very uneven - you can't use the color settings to avoid using gels if you want specific scene colors. Also, it would be nice to set some parameters on different "Scenes" - for example "Candlelight" might work well as "Fireplace" if you could make it more orange-red, and "Lightning" scenes might work with the "Basic" setting light" for the time it's not blinking. Anyway, each of the ten "scenes" appears to be a marketing gimmick. I think if you want exactly what the fixed scene setting does, you will You be happy. The second annoyance is that the light won't charge if you plug it in while it's on.You have to turn it off and then plug in the cable to charge it.It also means you can't just plug it in while you're in a fixed location - you have to remember to unplug it, use it, and plug it back in. It literally just drains the battery to zero even when plugged in, and won't recharge until you do it a unplug and plug in again.

Pros
  • Full color RGB, CRI95+, 10 scenario simulations
Cons
  • Long wait
