Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good purchase.

It's around 15โ€“20 meters and three walls from the router to the apartment's back room. Two other houses sit "windows to windows" to mine, and my router's signal was simply disrupted by them. I spent a considerable amount of time trying to resolve the issue of poor Internet by attempting to replace the wireless router, upgrade the antennas, switch channels, relocate the router, etc. The change was negligible. As soon as I heard about Powerline technology, I went out and bought the TL-WPA4220KIT. Complete resolution of the issue (higher real speeds measured).

Pros
  • Easy and quick to set up. Although I did not take any readings from within the local network, speedtest showed that incoming Internet traffic had been boosted to the provider's maximum limits. Installing the TL-WPA4220KIT increased the speed over twisted pair to 60 Mbps, and the speed over wi-fi was stable at 25-35 Mbps regardless of the number or activity of neighboring networks. Prior to the installation, the speed over wi-fi (in the far corner of the apartment) was in the range of 0.5-5 Mbps (depending on the activity of neighbors, up to 30 networks were "caught" at the measuring point).
Cons
  • The problem of how to make a faster Internet connection is no longer an issue.
