I needed a floor socket that is flush with the floor, metal, black, gasket to seal out air and moisture and the socket is deep so the plugs don't protrude and get in the way Furniture .This floor socket fits in every way except it doesn't sit flush with the floor. Build quality is good. The door is not difficult to open to access the outlet. Rubber seals are good. The seal isn't bad BUT it was painful to put on. It was ONLY painful because the supplied template is 3mm too small. I struggled to get the box and sit properly. I've spent a lot of time getting it right. In the end everything sat down and installed correctly. NOTE: Nothing other than a standard two-prong or three-prong PC plug will fit in the outlet. Make sure the connector you plug in is a regular lamp cord connector or a PC-style three-prong connector. All in all this would have been a 5 star outlet but Hubbell did not provide a suitably sized template. I'm so upset
