Super price! But they are made of brass as a kind of material. I was using them on an oak floor when I ran out of brass screws. As mentioned the paint is a bit worn but I don't think they will oxidize as much as this is a soil that sees water. If you're working with hardwood, you still need to drill a hole. lol thanks god bless you
