Good all-rounder

My convection oven was confiscated from my sister and my toaster broke, so I was looking for a new multi-purpose unit that would cover a lot of floors so my counter wouldn't be cluttered with appliances. Ninja Foodi has appeared. I was very interested in the flip up feature. It was really fascinating for me. Being able to fold down a nice deep oven but not taking up a significant part of the kitchen table. In fact, it's only slightly longer than my 4-piece toaster, and when it's turned upside down, it doesn't protrude further from the wall. Comes with a baking sheet and a frying basket. Both are essential in this oversized oven. It's good to have something that can increase the area of the oven. The display is really well made. Turn the knob on the front to select the cooking method. You can then press the buttons to switch between time and temperature. I love how intuitive the setup is and really easy to use. It also remembers what I made last time, so if I ate toast this morning, it will be toast again tomorrow. I like the size of the oven inside. Enough space for 9 slices of bread. I usually eat sourdough, so I can't put 9 slices of bread in it, but I always have enough space. The front door folds down and retracts, giving me enough room to reach with my oven mitt and get my tray of food. I make toast in it and also bake. Both worked fine. The only major problem I had was figuring out how to bake with it. When you set the temperature and time, preheating begins. When the preheat was complete, it simply announced the countdown timer. I waited for some sort of notification to take the food to the preheated oven. It doesn't take long at all and I found myself just putting food inside while it was preheating. Another issue I had was the beep at the end of the cooking cycle. Very quiet. I put in a frozen pizza, set the time for 18 minutes, and went about my business. I didn't hear the timer and went in to find a light and a pizza standing there looking delicious and ready to eat. I have to set a second timer to remind me of the car's ultra-quiet horn. One of the features that I really like is the toast function. During the last 30 seconds of the toasting cycle, the light will come on slowly to indicate the toast is toasty. This is a great feature for seeing your toast and stopping baking when the toast is ready to eat. I haven't tried the air fryer yet, but I think it will be very easy. I LOVE that they gave us a basket to match the car. Judging by how well the baking went, it's safe to assume Ninja improved the fryer too. I love the dehydrator too. My wife has an old dehydrator that is huge and clunky and takes up the entire bottom of the closet. It would be great to upgrade to such a multifunctional kitchen appliance. There are a few issues with the car but overall they are very minor. This car has many great features. Don't think it stops at folding tricks. It's just the icing on the cake of a very well made Ninja Foodi cake.
