This item did not work properly when it arrived. Once the unit was powered via the included switch, my LEDs stayed lit and the remote was unable to control the module. I decided to disassemble the block and check the circuit. What I found was SMT (SURFACE TECHNOLOGY) The resistor wasn't soldered properly! I'm pretty good at charts. So in my case it was a simple solution. The module now works correctly. However, I would recommend returning the device or exchanging it for a new one. The device appears to be of a higher quality than most other brands I've seen out there. It's possible I just received a bad ONE or one from a bad batch. Worth a try for €40. I gave four stars because this particular brand is one of the best out there.
