Review on LensCoat LCS30028BK Sigma Cover Black by Adam Matthews

It's ok but I expected more for the money. I read this from other reviews but thought I'd give it a try anyway. You were right. I wanted something that would protect my lens and spending that money seemed like a drop in the bucket compared to the price of the lens. What I don't like is that I look at what I have and think I could do it, and maybe next time I will. The part that goes over the lens leg has an adhesive backing and you have to cut it into several pieces and they keep peeling off. There's also no part that goes beyond the manual focus ring. At the same time I bought a lens cap for my 500mm lens and one piece came with it so I figured they would be the same. Another big thing I don't like is the part that goes over the distance indicator (below the focus ring). This actually makes it difficult to turn the focus ring into manual focus. I need to roll it up a bit so I can put the fous ring in the manual focus position. So overall I'm disappointed. The problem is, I don't know anyone who makes these covers. Maybe this should be my next thing :)
