I bought these sets to wear to my grandmother's wake and funeral. She loved hummingbirds. Since there were so many of them I didn't think to check what they are made of but I haven't had any irritation at all and I have very sensitive skin. They are comfortable and I love the style of the threaded earrings, I love even more that they come with earring backings! I think they would make a great gift and they certainly can be dressed up or worn loose!
