Good case for the price.

The case is perfect for a tablet (Samsung s7+). This is a 2 position cutout case and stand. It has magnets to keep the lid closed when not in use. Barring unforeseen circumstances, he should be doing well. It also has a place to store a pen so you don't lose it. It's good for the price.
