Garbage! (Honda Master Tech)

As I am a Honda Master Tech with 25 years of experience my review should be helpful. 1) The cable connector does not hold the pins and will be pushed out during installation. (Correction) Reinstall the original 9-pin factory connector. This tripled installation time, and time is money! 2) After soundproofing, the car runs for one second and stops, tries to start, and after that does not light up. (Correction) The test showed that the new igniter in the distributor was defective. Replaced with a factory Honda igniter to correct the problem. 3) When driving at high speeds, the car suddenly loses power and shuts down, not to start again. (Correction) During the inspection, the plastic of the rotor knobs separated from the metal. When decelerating, let the rotor knob stop at the set screws, ignition occurs on the exhaust stroke. Install a new rotor button and cover as the cover is likely to fail. 4) Oil leakage from the passenger side in the engine area. (Fixed) Removed the manifold and found the base o-ring had swollen into a sticky, gelatinous blob and oil was leaking out. Outside. Installed a new O-ring and pressure flushed the engine. Pour in 2 liters of oil. All of this happened within 7 days of receiving and installing the new manifold assembly. My suggestion for the company is just stick with the distribution base or build something that actually works. If you buy this item it should only be needed for the metal base! Don't expect this thing to work and save you money. I have the benefit of additional parts being removed over the years of the engine.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • so far so good
