Very poor design
This scratching post looks great at first glance, but it has a serious problem. Within a month or two, the lower half of the carpet-like fabric post begins to tear violently due to claw action. It eventually turns into a fibrous mess of loose strands of cloth that cats can try to bite off and possibly swallow. I would not recommend this product as it can be dangerous for cats.
