Very handy OBD2 reader, with one caveat.
"Check Engine" ads aren't very good, so if you have them you'll want them to go away. If you are a home or garage mechanic this is for you. I ended up connecting mine via Bluetooth via the app, it wasn't that hard until I discovered there were more features hidden behind the toll wall in the app. The extra features are worth it. Real-time diagnosis is more than the free version and no ads, it's win-win. Using the scanner with the included app helped me diagnose my car in real time and pinpoint some issues that indicated an engine check. Again, if you are a home, mobile, or garage mechanic? Highly recommended, with the proviso that the paid version of the accompanying app is significantly better.
- Read/Clear Trouble Codes, view their meaning, disable MIL, view real-time vehicle engine sensor data such as: B. Speed, RPM, fuel consumption, coolant temperature, etc. View data in text and graphical form, accessing snapshot of sensor data and I/M readiness. Make sure your vehicle is ready for inspection.
