2020Oct7My first soundbar choice (another brand based solely on reviews) just didn't work properly and their support made things worse so I returned it. Vizio was my second choice. but I'm very glad I have it now because the installation was easier and I like the product so much that I've already bought another one for a family member. I've used different solutions over the years, always the desired sound quality. I used home stereos, four different home theater products, the latest being the much more expensive (and better performing) Pioneer VSX-822-k. This product fits perfectly with all other solutions and is much easier to manage. A word of caution: Soundbars work best with a modern TV that already has an HDMI port that supports ARC (Audio Return Channel). While soundbars can be used in other ways with older TVs, the result will be a bit clunky. When used with an HDMI ARC connection (and properly configured), your TV's remote automatically adjusts the soundbar's volume, so my Vizio soundbar remote is never needed.
