Chest strap is not adjustable

I haven't tested it since it's being returned so I can't comment on durability, functionality or narrowness. It actually looks like a quality bag with plenty of storage space and is small enough to fit my four year old. However, it has a HUGE downside, which is that the position of the chest strap isn't adjustable. My 4 year old has a whistling buckle that falls on his stomach and is too low for comfort. I'm 5ft 2.5" and the straps are long enough to wear. However, the chest strap runs directly on my collarbone or lower (depending on whether I wear a tighter or looser backpack so that it fits a little less). lower back). I prefer the chest strap to go directly across the chest at about forearm level, and I know most men prefer it to go across the chest. The backpack shows great promise, great organization, whistle on the chest strap buckle, cap on the mouthpiece for hydration and I was hoping it could grow with my son. Unfortunately, the non-adjustable chest strap bothers my family.

  • Padded shoulder straps and padded back provide comfortable back support
