I bought this product at first thinking it could give me more information about the actual drill but I was wrong. Product details are very vague, but Dewalt now offers Bluetooth-connected devices and they provide information like trigger pull and run time, as well as battery status and the like. This product does none of that. In addition I had a faulty part and after installation I received a low coin battery warning and I contacted Dewalt and they told me I would need to send in the product to have it removed from my drill as they will be permanently paired with the instrument . I usually have nothing but good things to say about Dewalt, but I honestly feel like they missed this product.
