I really wanted this cutter to replace my homemade cutter that kept giving me uneven cutting lines. FantasyDay works a little better, but my cuts are still often a bit one-sided. The blade at the bottom is good for slick shaving soap, but if it protrudes too far into the cutter it will snag your soap loaf and make it impossible to push it forward for the next cut. I really like the bread pan that came with the kit and I have 5 other similar bread pans.
