I usually like spiral hair ties so I thought it would be fun to try them in scrunchie form but I have to say I wasn't very impressed with them. I expected more from them, especially since they have the Crayola name on them. They work well but not the best. The material is not the most pleasant to the touch and you can clearly see the seams where they were sewn. To be honest, for a well-known brand of gum that costs $5 a piece, I find that unacceptable. I also like material design. It seems to go with the Crayola brand and as I said the straps work well - it would be better if the elastic had a bit more material as the material prevents the spiral strap itself from stretching as much as possible. it should, and it's too small to easily go around my hair twice, which is what I need. With the fabric preventing the spiral tie from stretching as much as needed, I don't feel they work as well as regular spiral hair ties or regular hair ties. Next time I would probably leave them out.
