I love this halter. My service dog gsd is still young and I confess this is the first shop we have gone to. We knocked over the calendar stand at the entrance because she turned her head and only. Yes. We almost started with a muzzle head hybrid and as soon as things got a little boring I ordered this one. My city is used to how much bigger my GSD is compared to my last SD. And they weren't afraid of her. maybe they wanted to eat her (that was never a risk, I just know a lot of people were nervous and the muzzled hybrid helped them get used to the fact that she wasn't interested in her food at all). My dog loves this halter and gives me his sock when it's time to put it on. Love the design, very soft and the straps have been sewn together as this item should fit her nose. I use it for direction commands with my gsd, although we're getting used to walking and she's starting to pick up the leash attached to her harness for direction commands. I also ordered one for a training couple I help out with. It really helped get her dogs attention. I would like to warn you that it takes some effort to get the dog used to it. Since training and raising dogs I have had no more problems. regularly and make sure you teach them to muzzle if they ever need to go to the vet. The first step is to always muzzle train them, then I muzzle train them. But it took several weeks. for another pair with a headband. As said, it is soft and has padding on the tip of the nose. It's durable so don't worry about it breaking just yet and I've had mine for almost a year now. .And he survived a very road GSD which one day washed him into a lake. Like I said, I love it. And my dog seems to like it more than the other two we've had - a muzzle loop and a muzzle/head hybrid. I like that it doesn't stretch across her eyes like a soapy bow.
