It's good, but not a great DVD player.
Poor reach. I have to point straight at the DVD player, I mean I'll record it unhindered. I was very used to my previous player whose remote could even point to the side of the room and still work. It also seems very sensitive to small scratches and dirt. A few DVDs that don't play well on this unit will play well on a very old DVD player. Also, every time I turn on this player, the word ARAFUNA appears on the whole screen for a long time, which is very annoying. I'm thinking of buying a different brand of DVD player and may have just thrown it in the trash.
