Difficult to install and defective connector

In general, the product is not bad. I have a 2020 Polaris RZR XP 4 1000. After third and fourth place, I found a way to put a plastic grommet in the seat belt. Here are the comments.1. Use a Dremel tool. Luckily I have a Dremel and it worked really well. For the back seat, start with a soft cut, then repeat the next cut deeper until you cut a hole.2. Cutting out the front seat was easy. no questions.2. It's not necessary to remove a lot of foam, in fact the instructions say "not necessary" but only if necessary. I removed very little foam (maybe 1/4 inch foam for one seat. On the other seats I removed very, very little foam because I found a way to incorporate a plastic seat belt passthrough. More foam keeps your seat looking fancy and look professional 3 Here's my trick or invention: Before installing the grommet, thread the plastic bags/strips through the cutout in the foam padding you made when cutting the front seat (I used the plastic bags that came with the grommet were). long strips of it). So I took four strips through the foam rubber (two at the top and two at the bottom). Then I stuck two bundles tightly between plastic bags. Consider how to make a ham sandwich. Two slices of bread = plastic strips and ham = wire harness. I slipped the tourniquet between two slices of bread. This allows the two cable harnesses to be easily connected. You may have to wiggle/pull the plastic strips when connecting the two straps. Once you have successfully attached the straps you can remove the plastic strips by pulling them from the front of the seat. Note: When threading the plastic strips, you may need to tuck in the excess plastic strips (on the back of the seat). Turn the top two strips up/in and the bottom two strips down/in. In this way, the plastic strips do not get caught in the (rear) passage of the seat belt when pulled out. In any case, you may ask why this invention? Because the first two seats didn't use this trick, I broke the connector and cut out more foam than I needed, and the connectors didn't connect completely because the pieces of foam were preventing the connectors from snapping into place. You will understand what I am talking about when you install trailers without my invention/trick.

Pros
  • Wiring harnesses
Cons
  • Large and bulky
