Broken before she could wear it

My 7 year old niece loved this watch when we gave it to her. Unfortunately it was never used. It was too big for her wrist and could fall off under the strongest pull. Her father took the watch to a watchmaker to have the strap fitted. The clock broke on the way home. The time is not displayed and the dial is closed so you cannot read it. My poor niece loves it so much she still keeps it with her treasures but she is just as disappointed as I am.
