Got this for my 6 yr old because it reminded me of what we had when I was a kid in the 70's. It's ok but not great. I guess for the price it's ok but the materials are a bit cheap in my opinion. The plastic used is very light and therefore the jump rope is too light. I thought the point of having the blue-white plastic slots was to add weight to the rope? But if you use light plastic that defeats the purpose, doesn't it?Plus I remembered the negative of these ropes - if the plastic catches you on the arm your skin gets pinched. Happened to my son on day 1 - ouch!
