This monitor had an incredibly short lifespan before it became unusable. A few months after purchasing this monitor I noticed that it flickers every 10 minutes when connected to a MacBook. The flash is strong, like a camera flash that can blind you for a few seconds. I've tried 4 different laptops, all Macs of different brands and models (Air and Pros) and different cables and am convinced it's the monitor. Also, the monitor became unstable when connected to an HDMI cable. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't - it works about 1 in 10 times, which is annoying when you're switching between rooms during meetings. There's no obvious pattern as to why it sometimes works and why it doesn't. If it doesn't work, it still shows up as an extended display connected to the laptop. The laptop moves windows to the area where the display should be, and when you move the mouse over that area, it just disappears. Also, I can see the display with windows when I take a screenshot. This means that from a laptop perspective, the display is physical and doesn't show anything.
