Almost perfect in the kitchen and dining room

Oster Top Chop FPSTMC1250 I've had several of these little choppers from different brands. So I have a reference point and can compare this experience with my previous experience. There are things I really like about it. First, it's much quieter and allows me to use it when my family is sleeping. Major advantage. At the same time slower than I'm used to. The number of revolutions per minute (RPM) is significantly lower, which isn't a big deal if you're looking for a coarse texture (like tuna salad or salsa). For example if you are trying to blend carrot and apple you want a smoother consistency but you may not succeed (I have yet to try blending carrot and apple in this processor). He's strong for his size. Don't get stuck and grind up the chicken breasts and make a good chicken salad! I assume lower RPM gives more torque. Another great thing is the stainless steel container! At the same time, to accommodate the stainless steel container, there is a rubber gasket between the container and the plastic top lid, which is another thing to wash… I removed it because it is too cumbersome to clean, which then makes mixing liquids more difficult and it can flow through a crack without a gasket (I just have to hold it in place). It also has another rubber seal at the bottom of the container to keep it from sliding on the surface. Again, you'll have to detach it to clean it... It has a dual blade, which seems like a good idea in theory. However, I found it somewhat inefficient. It's not uncommon to find a large chunk of avocado (or chicken) uncut in my chicken salad. These pieces can be 2 inches by 1 inch... I don't understand how such a large piece can withstand 1 minute of mixing with a two stage blade. The only explanation is poor blade design. My previous Oyster blender had a single deck blade and never left anything uncut - it produced a more even blend. In addition, this two-stage blade does not create downward flow of food (like a single-stage blade), causing food to get stuck. It's not perfect, but I get it to work and it's easy to overcome its shortcomings. In general I am very satisfied with the purchase and I recommend the purchase.
