I have a VW MK4 GTI 2.0L (AEG). I replaced the spark plugs (NGK BKURET-10) and the ignition cables (NGK 57041) a few weeks ago. I'm new, so this is my first time doing something like this. I played around with the tool on the new wires prior to installation just to get an idea of how and where the tool would snag on the spade. I found this to be very intuitive and it saved me a lot of time and frustration removing/installing wires, especially for #2 and #3 cylinders. You don't need to remove the air intake to change spark plugs and wires like some YouTube- recommend videos. There are other videos showing how to do that with such a tool. Work smart, not force. Also, for the price, the tool is much stronger than I expected. The investment is worth it.
