I was misled by the product name which also includes candle making. Therefore, it mixes well with soy wax and has a good color. But once the candle begins to burn, the color collects near the wick in the form of an uncomfortable powder. Even after the candle has completely burned out, a layer of colored residue remains at the bottom. I give it 3 stars because it is said to have many other uses in crafting besides candles.
