Review on 🐠 Finnex FugeRay Planted+ LED Aquarium Light with Moonlights - Clip-on Fixture by Melanie Williams

I like this lamp very much. I use the larger Finnex 24/7 CC lights in my 55 gallon planter so I decided to buy their clip on light for my Marineland 5 gallon Portrait tank. It replaced the tiny/dim original LED that came with the kit. The aquarium gets indirect sunlight but I've still noticed more plant growth since I added Finnex a week ago. It provides good lighting for a small aquarium and a much better light spectrum for plants than most small clip-on lights. I add dry fertilizer and excel and turn on the lights with a timer for 8 hours a day. No problems with seaweed, although Excel helps with that. The adjustable handle is easy to use, the mounting clamp is secure, and the bracket is well designed. Keep in mind that it may not be very far from its base. My aquarium measures about 12 inches from back to front, and the placement of the light over the center is at its maximum. It's definitely made for a small aquarium. Although this flashlight is expensive compared to other clips, I think it's worth it. this is for plants *update* A year later I'm still very happy with this light Great plant growth and no problems.
