Overall - does what it's supposed to. Disk access seems fast, works on Windows and Mac OS. The included magnetic-tipped screwdriver is a bonus. The included Thunderbolt 3 (passive) cable is around 18-19 inches long, which is also a bonus. The statement is useless. The included instructions say "Open the back cover" and then the next step - "Insert the M.2 NVMe SSD" - it skips everything "You need to unscrew those four other screws and take the circuit board out, install the drive and take the screw , which you will need for the fasteners, from another pack also included in the kit. I think the instructions I received might have been for an earlier model? It also mentions a "knob" instead of a screw and doesn't say anything about an included thermal pad or keyring attachment. However, if you can complete the simple task of removing the 4 extra screws (circled in red in the attached images), use the included magnetized screwdriver to attach the included thermal pad to the top of your M.2 drive (very obvious where it's going) and reassembling it (also obvious), it should be pretty easy to set up (took less than 5 minutes). And once it's set up and connected, it gets the job done and gets it done quickly. You can also feel the heat dissipating on the fins!
