This is a really nice mug. It is very light and Titan promises maximum reliability. I've found that even stainless steel rusts. The bracket holding the handle hinges doesn't seem to come loose. It's strange that this little cup comes with a lid. A large 750ml drinking mug doubles as a 1-serving cooking pot (and is probably the best all-around choice), but that's only the size of an old standard coffee mug (pre-caffeine zombie era) and shines being too small to cook. I can't imagine using the lid, no matter how pretty it is. This cup itself seems more suitable to be hung somewhere outside the backpack for a quick dip in a drink. Size aside, the only downside I can think of is that the two grip loops aren't positioned to interlock or interlock in any way, making for a less stable grip than they could be.
